The Suite—a series of old Baroque dances—has become, in J. S. Bach’s interpretation, an iconic musical work with a profound emotional and philosophical dimension. This project offers a new perspective on this form—as a six-part cycle of intermedia images that interweave music, performance, visual art, and technology. SUITA is a dialogue between human and machine. In this intimate conversation, the fragility of human emotion meets the cold precision of digital media. The result is a work that explores how we change under the influence of technology, especially when we allow it to penetrate the deepest layers of our inner experience. The project explores themes of interpersonal relationships and the ability to share the present moment and emotional space with another person in a time of social crises and constant change. How does the presence of technology affect our most personal moments? Can a machine be our companion in both sorrow and joy?
